WISE/McCormack Graduate Scholars Award Program
Expanding the opportunity of career-transforming graduate education to more women.
Each year, two WISE members are awarded tuition-free admission to UMass Amherst's Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management for their choice of degree: a two-year MBA/MS or a one-year MS.
Graduate-level education is proven to sharply accelerate the advancement of women in the early stages of their careers. However, at the younger ages when women benefit most from this advanced degree is when they often have the least resources to invest in it.
The WISE/McCormack Graduate Scholars Award Program gives two WISE members each year tuition-free admission to UMass Amherst's Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management.
Since 2019, 10 Scholars have pursued an advanced degree at McCormack through this unique partnership.
Scholars can choose between one of two McCormack graduate sport management programs: a two-year MBA/MS dual-degree program that includes an accelerated MBA, and a one-year MS degree program. Both programs are full-time, on-campus programs for accelerated in-person learning.
